Design Background & Goals:
My first design job was in-house for a fondue restaurant chain, where I was paid more in cheese than money (not an altogether bad deal). I transitioned into residential design before landing in the world of Contract FF&E, where I spent nearly a decade. I worked my way from Designer to Project Manager to Director of Design, specifying FF&E for corporate, education, healthcare and government projects. In 2015, I made the decision to leave the corporate world and branch out on my own. I’ve always had the goal of creating the workplace I wish I had when I was in corporate America. I’m proud to have a team of brilliant and talented designers and I’m blessed to get to work with my family. I love that we have a fun and flexible work style. Our freedom from the traditional workspace allows us to see outside the box and create spaces unique to the amazing clients we work for.

Design Background & Goals:
As a former musician my main background for design would have to be arrangement. After helping arrange and complete many musical pieces through the years I find arranging a song and furniture for a room one in the same, the latter simply involves lifting more. The goal is always to see the arrangement complete and looking better than the floor plans!

After graduating college, I began working as an intern for a single-family residential design firm and quickly moved my way to design assistant and then interior designer. After three years, I decided I wanted to take my skills to the next level and venture into a new avenue of design. I’ve always had an interest in multifamily residential and have quickly found a passion for it since becoming TSD Studios Production Designer. My goal is to help make the world a more beautiful place one project at a time!

As a self-taught, self-directed person, I have followed my passion for interior design. I have pushed myself to make the life change to follow my dreams, as I believe that the best work, and the road to success is driven by focusing on what you naturally do best and what brings you joy. It took me a good chunk of time to get out of my own way, and I’m sure glad I did. TSD Studios has allowed me to cement my goals and “spread my wings,” and I am truly grateful!
