Title: Principal & Owner
Educated By: University of South Florida; International Academy of Design
Notorious For: Terrible sense of direction.
Celebrity Doppelganger: Courtney Henggeler (aka the actress who plays Danny Larusso’swife on Cobra Kai)
Useless Talent: Curating the perfect playlist.
Favorite Place on Earth: Manhattan. Or 33,000 ft above earth with a good book.
Design Background & Goals: My first design job was in-house for a fondue restaurant chain, where I was paid more in cheese than money (not an altogether bad deal). I transitioned into residential design before landing in the world of Contract FF&E, where I spent nearly a decade. I worked my way from Designer to Project Manager to Director of Design, specifying FF&E for corporate, education, healthcare and government projects. In 2015, I made the decision to leave the corporate world and branch out on my own. I’ve always had the goal of creating the workplace I wish I had when I was in corporate America. I’m proud to have a team of brilliant and talented designers and I’m blessed to get to work with my family. I love that we have a fun and flexible work style. Our freedom from the traditional workspace allows us to see outside the box and create spaces unique to the amazing clients we work for.
Celebrity Doppelganger: My personality doppelgänger is 100% Monica Geller from Friends.
Useless Talent: I’m really good at organizing/making everything fit in the dishwasher.
Favorite Place on Earth: Bryant Denny stadium on a Saturday.
Design Background & Goals: In 2020 I began interning with TSD as what was supposed to be a short summer internship then soon grew into a part-time role as I finished college to eventually becoming a full-time designer upon graduation. My goal is to continue learning and growing at TSD and to hopefully one day grow into a role where I can lead and help new designers.
Notorious For: Being 15 minutes early to each and every thing I do
Celebrity Doppelganger: A young David Gilmour
Useless Talent: Having hair made for hair product commercials
Favorite Place on Earth: Yosemite Valley
Design Background & Goals: As a former musician my main background for design would have to be arrangement. After helping arrange and complete many musical pieces through the years I find arranging a song and furniture for a room one in the same, the latter simply involves lifting more. The goal is always to see the arrangement complete and looking better than the floor plans!
Notorious For: Belting out every song and singing the wrong lyrics
Celebrity Doppelganger: Emily Blunt
Useless Talent: Taking 5-minute naps
Favorite Place on Earth: Somewhere on a beach with a glass of Pino Grigio in hand
Design Background & Goals: After graduating college, I began working as an intern for a single-family residential design firm and quickly moved my way to design assistant and then interior designer. After three years, I decided I wanted to take my skills to the next level and venture into a new avenue of design. I’ve always had an interest in multifamily residential and have quickly found a passion for it since becoming TSD Studios Production Designer. My goal is to help make the world a more beautiful place one project at a time!
We believe your space should be an accurate representation of the personality of the people who will live in them. The space should speak to the people, tell the story, and, simultaneously, be beautiful and timeless.
